Detroit United SC
is the Gambian team in Detroit, Michigan. Over the years,
the team has participated in a number of tournaments,
strengthening its resolve for competitive gamesmanship
and enhancing the expertise and experience of its growing
cadre of players and officers.
We, players and managers of DUSC, are committed to winning
with integrity and honesty. The love of the game guides
our sportsmanship, motivate our desire to excel in our
performance, and commits us to a shared understanding
of our unity of purpose and ideals.
All sporting games have the power to encourage mass participation,
stimulate public entertainment and promote unity even
in diversity. Through its participation in a number of
leagues, or by way of self-sponsored tournaments for Gambians
in Detroit and beyond, Detroit United hopes to bring Gambians
closer together in a spirit of unity and community.
