Modou is a recipient of the Gambian Association
of Michigan community service award in 2005 for his dedication,
committment, and tireless support of the need of the Gambian
community in Michigan. BA in Computer Information Sytems Class of 2001 Davenport University. He is also MCP, MCSE, MCSA Certified.
Modou's hobbies include scrabble, reading
and sports. A good footballer and a fan of Mass Sosseh
since childhood, Modou continues to be a pivotal force
in Detroit United, the Gambian team in Detroit. He served
for two terms on the board of the Metro Detroit Soccer
League (MDSL). During the soccer season in the summer,
he is often seen running around, organizing efforts for
the Gambian team's participation in the league. His patience
never wears thin.
Modou contracted at Ford Motor company and Ford Motor Credit as a network Administrator from 1999 to 2008. He designed and maintain the
website for the Michigan Gambian Association.
